Whether playing traditional pieces or new compositions, their music exudes playfulness and confidence that is a joy to see and hear.

Janie Rothfield brings her fiery old-time fiddle and clawhammer banjo stylings and a vibrant body of original fiddle tunes.

Allan Carr’s deep knowledge of the Scottish ballad traditions, rhythmic and inventive guitar playing, and charming Aberdeen brogue transport the listener across the ocean to another time and place.

Ellen Coplin’s cello playing is the dynamic element that ties together the twirling fiddles and tasty guitar licks; in turns driving and droning.

Sean Hoffman’s driving and lyrical fiddle playing comes from a family bluegrass tradition and a lifelong study of Irish traditional music
